Underway...

The crew left Brewer Capri in Port Washington, NY Tuesday morning after taking on some fuel. Destination: anchorage at Sandy Hook.

It's been a long time since we have cruised through New York harbor.

She's beautiful even in the fog. Looks like we're really doing this...

Whew!

The crew has been very busy getting their new home ready. In fact, too busy to take more than a few pictures. There has been moving and unpacking and cleaning and exploring.

There's been learning where the water and all important food dishes are, where to do business (Dylan was right onboard while Dee Dee is proving to be more of a problem - surprise!), where to nap and to watch the docks. It's been exhausting!

Today Dylan and Dee Dee helped with the first pump out.

Dee Dee decided to check it out a little closer. It's a dog thing...

Everyone is happy to fall into (the king-size) bed at night and sleep until day break. We hope to leave tomorrow to head back to Deltaville where even more packing and unpacking and cleaning await. As my father was found of saying, "You can sleep when you get old."

The next adventure begins!

Road Trip to Red Head

Up at 4 am, in the rental car by 4:44 am. This is no ordinary road trip. The crew is psych'd.

Something's Up

You can't pull the wool over the eyes of the aCappella crew. They have been watching with much interest as Mom and Dad sort and box the belongings on aCappella.

Their job is to ensure a sprinkle of dog hair ends up in every box and bag. They're very good at their job...

Happy Birthday, Dylan!!

Nine years ago today our sweet Dylan was born. He joined aCappella as crew when only 8 weeks old. What he lacked in experience he made up for in cuteness.

He is now a well seasoned, salty dog and an integral member of the crew. Plus he's still so darn cute.

Our adventures wouldn't be the same without him. We love you, Dylan!
