So the whole crew watched from the upper deck of Red Head as she pulled into the bay where the travel lift awaited.
Dylan and Dee Dee watched intently as the home they have known for their whole lives was raised out of the water.
We still think she is a beauty. The kids are hoping the new owners will have a dog, or two, who likes to swim and carry lots of treats onboard. Maybe they could meet them in the Bahamas and show them the beach.
We had a lot of good years on that boat. Many good memories too. I think we're all gonna miss her a little...

Just make sure the crew doesn't jump ship and end up as stowaways on aCappella. Keep those treats coming (as if bribery works???)
I hope momma heals soon 😳
Exciting and sad at the same time... for all of you no doubt. When we gave up sailing, we dreamed of a trawler. It never happened. But seeing aCappella coming up for sale, you make us wish for younger days. Ah well, a Florida condo for the winter ain't so bad either. Bart's still hoping to meet D&D at the Vero Beach dog park this year.
In the meantime, enjoy!
