There She Goes...

This morning aCappella pulled away from the Zimmerman Marine dock with Daddy at the helm. She is being hauled out for bottom paint and a couple of other projects to get her ready to sell. Sadly, the crew was not onboard. Dylan and Dee Dee were banned to keep her dog-hair-free. Mom was stupid and fell and bunged up her foot...

So the whole crew watched from the upper deck of Red Head as she pulled into the bay where the travel lift awaited.

Dylan and Dee Dee watched intently as the home they have known for their whole lives was raised out of the water.

We still think she is a beauty. The kids are hoping the new owners will have a dog, or two, who likes to swim and carry lots of treats onboard. Maybe they could meet them in the Bahamas and show them the beach.

We had a lot of good years on that boat. Many good memories too. I think we're all gonna miss her a little...
